* A thorough introduction to the major components of your home…

The purpose of having a home inspection is twofold. First, it provides you with a clear understanding of the age and condition of the major systems of the home. With this knowledge, you can make or plan for any necessary repairs or replacements. In addition, your inspector will give you a great deal of information about the types of products and materials that make up the home, as well as helpful maintenance tips. This is also your opportunity to ask your inspector any questions you may have as you proceed through the inspection together. For these reasons, we strongly encourage you to be present at the inspection.

* Professional, knowledgeable inspectors…

All Home Advantage inspectors have strong residential construction backgrounds plus additional training in the specifics of performing home inspections.
We are members of the National Association of Home Inspectors, and perform inspections to NAHI standards.
We provide independent, objective inspections, and have no affiliation with any construction, home improvement or real estate organization.

* A comprehensive, written report provided on the spot…

At the end of the inspection, you will be given an 18-page Building Analysis Report. This report contains general information and life expectancy estimates as well as the specific findings of your inspector. The areas covered are:

- Structural and Basement

- Heating and Cooling

- Plumbing and Bathrooms

- Electrical and Kitchen

- Interior and Attic

- Roofing and Exterior Grounds

* Follow-up phone consultation to answer your questions at no additional cost…

• We encourage you to call your inspector with any questions or clarification that you may need after the inspection is completed.
